Overview
The Fundraiser Manager ensures the long-term financial sustainability of Breathe Mongolia by securing the funds needed for our mission to achieve clean air for all. Our strategy is to identify new donors who can help us scale our existing programmers or extend our work to new geographies while engaging with existing donors to secure their further support. Fundraiser Manager will be integral to securing continuing support from our current donors and to setting up processes from scratch in a new and rapidly growing organization.
🤹🏻♂️ Responsibilities
A volunteer is expected to contribute to the completion of the following deliverables:
- Develop and implement the strategic plan for growing Clean Air Fund’s portfolio of donors among the international foundation and philanthropic community.
- Manage new donor development, from research, identification, cultivation, and proposal development to contract.
- Support the work of senior leaders to secure the renewal of core unrestricted support from the current foundation donor base.
- Analyze trends in foundation giving, especially but not limited to the climate and clean air arenas, to develop actionable intelligence to assist relationship management and prospect identification.
- Project manage annual donor reporting and supervise development and management of fit-for-purpose donor tracking.
- Produce high-quality proposals and supporting collateral, work with senior staff in pitch processes, and identify opportunities for existing funders to support new projects
- Work with senior leaders to ensure relationships with donors are well-managed
👩🏻💼 Qualifications
- Fluent English
- Clear and timely communication skills
- An understanding and curiosity of Mongolia’s air pollution crisis, climate change, and environmental science, as well as the desire and passion for engaging in continued learning efforts
- Able to work a minimum of 5 hours a week
- Able to work remotely through time zone changes
